I am a Sophomore in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Washington interested in applying engineering solutions to environmental research, sustainability, and restoration.Â
As Mechanical Lead on The Underwater Remotely Operated Vehicles Team (UWROV) at the University of Washington I help guide the development of our competition ROV, write, review, and approve technical documentation, and teach new members foundational engineering skills. With 7 years of involvement in the MATE ROV competition throughout middle school, high school, and now university, I have had the privilege to work on incredible projects alongside talented people. I have also been involved with the First Tech Challenge (FTC), and always have a side project or two (or three) in the works.
Outside of engineering, I enjoy attending jazz and symphonic concerts, playing the trombone, reading, and folding origami, and various outdoor activities.
